By Antonio Shaw (Earth)
This CD holds a lot of sentimental value for me, but I know that even if it didn't, I'd still give it 5 stars. I purchased it over 6 years ago on a US Naval base in Sicily when I was 20 years old and in the US Marines. I'd recently made friends with a pure techno junkie, and he piqued my curiosity for the genre. This CD was my very first willing step into the techno/house/trip-hop/drum-&-bass/etc. genres...and till this day, it is still one of my favorites.
The whole CD blazes across your brain from beginning to end, but my 2 personal favorites are "Ghetto Blaster" & the absolutely perfect "Pass It On". As someone who has a 30 gig mp3 player (Creative's Zen Vision: M) filled to the brim with just about every genre of music you can imagine, trust me when I say that you won't regret this purchase. It's an absolute must for any techno fan, to be sure.

I bought this CD at a time when I was very heavily under the influence of the "Happy Hardcore" genre. The only real reason I picked up this CD because I enjoyed the Over America 2000 documentary (which by the way is a must for any techno fan) and I noticed that new tracks from Cirrus,Keoki and Carl Cox were on the album. This album delievers an excellent mix of Trip Hop, Drum & Bass, House and more all stuffed into a 13 track masterpiece. Even though I bought this CD a while back I still play it on almost daily basis because it is just that damn good. My personal favorite tracks are both Cirrus tracks "Ghetto blaster" & "Stop and panic", Carl Cox's "Dr. Funk", Keokis "Pass it on",Omar Santana's "Raver's damnation", Freshmaka's "La la la" and the awesome remix of the Clevland Lounge's "Drowning" by the drum & bass master AK1200. Once again, this is an awesome CD pick it up ASAP if you enjoy any of the styles or artists I mentioned.
